After we’ve finished our daytrip to Monaco we decided we wanted to continue our European baja beetle trip to the Pyrenees, the mountains on the border with France and Spain.

So, after a trip down the French coast, following the coast in the direction of spain we arrived at Andorra. Andorra is a small country in the middle of the pyrenees.

Fuel stop in Andorra

At first we had a fuel stop in Andorra, because fuel is a lot cheaper here then in most European countries, you want to top up when possible!

From Sant Julià de Lòria we went up into the mountains of Andorra!

Amazing scenery along the way! We are on our way to Pic Negre, a mountain top with an altitude of 2643m (8671ft) and we are paying a visit to an old abandoned Volkswagen T1 van.

There it is! And it’s an oldie! Probably a 1958 or 1959! Cool to see this little van got up here some day 🙂

That’s Andorra for us! But we found a nice unsealed route into Spain, make sure to tune in for the last part of our European baja beetle roadtrip, Pt7 because we head from the pyrenees into a desert in Spain!
