Whilst still in lockdown, i couldnt camp anywhere or visit a lot of places since you weren’t allowed to go out without a valid reason. (For example; work, groceries)

Luckily i got a job at VW Crisis line in Malanda, Queensland. They do maintenance/repairs and engine building for aircooled Volkswagens.
I’m doing all the floor work, oil changes, brakes, clutches you name it. So the guys have more time to get back up to date with their engine building schedule. (They had a lot of engines to build! And new queries coming in!)

But first i had to repair my own clutch!

Im happy to have this job, since they have quite a lot of property i also have a place to stay and put up camp.
and i have something to keep me occupied whilst staying “home”.

When restrictions eased a little bit, and i was able to at least visit Cairns i went there for the weekends to relax, and meet some people.

Visited Yarrabah a couple of times, it is close to Cairns, and had a little go around the beach there. Beautifull area, unfortunately a lot of trash around, really a LOT of trash which really grinded my gears.
