After spending all my money on getting myself travel ready i started applying for jobs.
I did get a job at a farm in Orange, New south wales (about a 2000 kilometer drive)so i had to start moving further south altough i didnt really look forward to moving south since the further south i got the more bushfires were raging around me, but more on that later.
One of the beautifull camps i visited along the way was this one, a free campsite at lake Proserpine.

I was able to set up camp just before it got dark and for the first time i noticed something i havent noticed at home ever. No phone reception at all!
There were some basic things like toilets, but that was about it. I also didn’t need anything else.
But.. dinner? Well, the australians got that all sorted out for you! even tough it was a free campsite, with no luxury/electricity connection whatsoever but ofcourse there were barbecues! So i made a meal on the barbecue overlooking this beautifull lake with all the mountains surrounding it!
I was really tired, and the mosquitos started to get murderous, so i called it an early night.

Goodmorning!
What a view to wake up to! I just started traveling Australia but this were the views and places i knew i was doing it for!
Just took a moment to enjoy this moment to its fullest before i got out of my tent.

Breakfast time! even tough it is already over a year ago i still remember this perfectly.
Weather was just perfect, it was about 9am and already 24 degrees!
Perfect to sit down and make some breakfast, some eggs, some bacon, a loaf of bread and some milk that is all i need to start my day!
After breakfast and a quick dip into the lake it was time to pack my gear and go out to find my next spot, and try to get to my farmwork in time!
